Dr. Aimee Rovane
Dr. Aimee Rovane is a postdoctoral associate who has extensive experience working with children with behavior problems, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism, ADHD, etc.), and/or chronic illnesses. She completed her doctorate degree in School Psychology at the University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC), and she obtained her predoctoral training in Clinical and Pediatric Psychology at the Mailman Center for Child Development (Miami, FL). Outside of the Help and Healing Center, Dr. Rovane is completing a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Pediatric Neuropsychology at Ascension St. Alexius Hospital (Hoffman Estates, IL). She specializes in neuropsychological evaluations and is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Dr. Rovane understands that optimal family functioning relies on the wellbeing of each family member, and she is passionate about equipping parents with the tools and support they need to parent effectively. In her spare time, Dr. Rovane enjoys thrifting, exploring the outdoors, doing yoga, and playing with her dog, Moonie.
