Jessica Myszak is a licensed psychologist who has been practicing since 2010. Her primary training has included children, adolescents, and families with a focus on developmental disabilities. Originally from the Southwest Chicagoland area, she received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Georgia and her M.S. and Ph.D. in school psychology from Indiana University, where she specialized in social skills and autism spectrum disorder and gained several publications in this area. She completed her internship and post-doctorate fellowship with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center / Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities in Memphis, Tennessee, a UCEDD/LEND training facility which focuses on best practice for evidence-based treatment, where she gained further experience with evaluation and treatment of children with developmental disabilities and their families (autism, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disabilities) and emotional problems.
From 2011-2019, Dr. Myszak worked in a private practice setting in Memphis, Tennessee, where she performed psychological testing and therapy for children and adults. She was frequently sought out by others as a regional expert in early childhood autism assessment, and she worked closely with local speech pathologists, BCBAs, and the state early intervention system to ensure that children in need were identified and referred for services.
